    Nosebleeds

    Called epitaxy’s and is usually caused by allergies, colds, nasal drops abuse, beatings or blowing your nose too hard. The nosebleeds can be a serious symptom if the victim has very high blood pressure, suffered a severe trauma or too intense.

    WHAT TO DO

    - In case of serious bleeding is to call an ambulance, while engaged in first aid.
    - Lay the victim and tilt forward to that blood does not go down the throat.
    - Cork with the thumb and index both nostrils for about ten minutes.
    - Apply ice packs to your nose.
    - Indicates that breathe through your mouth for the duration of compression and even within one hour of the cessation of bleeding.
    - If it persists after ten or fifteen minutes of direct pressure, gently insert a sterile gauze or cloth, folded in the form of acordeon in the pit, you press and soaked at a time.
    - Compress for five minutes.
    - If you bleed a lot and the first gauze is not enough, you can add another but without removing the first, because if it has initiated a process of coagulation can reopen the vessel.
    - Count the sponges that were introduced in order not to miss.

    DO NOT

    Do not move victim if you suspect trauma or severe cervical cranium.
    Do not enter anything in the nose if nasal fracture is suspected.
