[3] New Article 590 (assault and battery). - “Whoever causes one to blame others for personal injury and ‘punished with imprisonment up to three months or a fine of up to six hundred thousand pounds. If the lesion is’ grave and the punishment ‘of imprisonment from one to six months or a fine of two hundred and forty thousand pounds to one million two hundred thousand, if and’ grave, imprisonment from three months to two years or a fine ranging from two to six hundred thousand pounds million and four hundred thousand. If the facts of the second paragraph are committed in violation of the rules on the regulation of road traffic or those for the prevention of accidents at work, the penalty for serious injury and ‘imprisonment from three months to one year or fine of between 500 to 2,000 Euros and the punishment for the most serious injuries and ‘imprisonment from one to three years. In case of injury of several persons who should apply the penalty imposed for the most serious of violations, plus up to three times, but the penalty of imprisonment not exceeding five years. Crime and ‘punishable on complaint by the injured party, except as provided in the first and second paragraphs, limited to acts committed in violation of the rules for the prevention of occupational accidents or work in hygiene or having given an occupational disease ’.
